A Polyester hammock is made of polyester rope, which is weather resistant and nearly as soft as cotton. Polyester hammocks feature a bright white rope. Polyester rope is a soft spun man-made fiber that is rot and mildew resistant. The polyester rope hammock is recommended for tougher weather conditions or to leave outside all the time. The soft spun polyester rope is as close to the comfort of cotton as you can get in a man-made fiber. The process begins with miles of soft yarns being formed into layers to create the desired thickness for strength. Three layers are joined to create the signature 3-ply rope. In the process, the layers are balanced and twisted for superior strength and comfort.
