Mayan Hammock Hanging Tips

Mayan hammocks do not come with hanging hardware and do not fit regular hammock stand. We strongly recommend hanging them with ropes, hanging hardware kit, tree straps or Mayan hammock stand (see right hand side of page for matching accessories). You can hang this hammock in 11 to 15 feet of space. At 11-12 feet, the hooks have to be place at 6.5 feet. At 13-14-15 feet, the hooks have to be placed at 5.5 feet. If your space is more than 14 feet, you might need to use tree straps.
