The Hammock Company, LLC was founded in 2001 in Winterville, North Carolina, a small town next to Greenville , North Carolina, the hammock capital of the world. We served over 100,000 satisfied customers through the years and are thrilled to have you on our site.

If you are not satisfied with an item - If an item is in perfect condition and you are not satisfied with it, you have 90 days to return it to us. You simply pay for the shipping to get it back and we will credit you the amount of the product minus the original shipping. In case of Free Shipping, we will deduct standard shipping rates from the refund. You can send back anything you are not happy with ... no matter what the reason. It does not matter if you changed your mind, or if the color you selected clashes with the tulips in your yard, or even if your dog doesn't like what you bought. Simply send it back to this address:

For items that are sold with a special "free shipping" offer, items that are returned for refused delivery, or when three delivery attempts were made, we will simply deduct the standard returning shipping cost from the total refund.
If you would like to exchange - If you like your item but the color or material is not exactly what you thought, we can exchange your item. Simply send it back to us at your expense and we will send you another one and charge/credit you the difference in price. We will not charge you shipping for a replacement.
If there is a manufacturing defect - You have a full 1 year warranty and we pay for the replacement. If anything we sell you has a defect or flaw... call us and we will have FED EX pick up your package. We only ask that you box the product and get it ready for shipping. Upon examination of the defect you will receive a replacement free of charges. We only ask that you take care of your purchase and use it like it was intended.
Prolonged exposure to weather conditions including snow, rain, and humidity are not covered under the warranty nor is damage caused by normal wear, mildew, improper care including storage, maintenance, and installation.
