How to Buy a Hammock?
Hammocks comes in various sizes, types and brands. The best brands are Hatteras Hammocks, Pawleys Island Hammocks and Nags Head Hammocks. The first thing to know is that all hammocks can go on a stand or between trees. The hammock is sold separately from the stand unless a hammock combination, hammock package or hammock combo offer is mentioned.
The second thing to know is which style of hammocks you like best. A rope hammock is more traditional and lets the air flow through the hammock body, a quilted hammock creates colors and offer full comfort, Quick-Dry or Poolside hammocks dry quickly, Mayan hammocks have a cultural significance and Brazilian hammocks are practical. The third thing to ask yourself is from which material you want your hammock to be made. Cotton is traditional, natural and comfortable, Polyester is more modern, mildew resistant and yet soft, while Duracord is mildew resistant, colorfast and as soft as cotton.
Finally, you need to choose the size of your hammock. Please note that some hammocks an fabric type are not offered in every sizes. For example, quilted and canvas hammocks are only available in a Large, 55 inches wide size. Large hammocks are 55 inches wide and are good for 2 people and Deluxe size hammocks are 60 inches wide and good for 2 or more. Both sizes are 13 feet long and will fit areas of 13-15 feet.
